Professor of cell biology and rheumatologist at University Paris-Diderot Paris 7
Research theme: mechanisms of bone resorption and particularly of effect of estrogenes in osteoclasts. The clinical aspect is dedicated to the identification of factors involved in bone fragility and cortical bone loss. A new research theme has been developed focused in the interaction between bone and cartilage showing the implication of bone resorption in the development of osteoarthritis.
Academic position: in charge of teaching of cell biology and at the level of Master at the Paris-Diderot medical school
Membership: French society of rheumatology, American Society for Bone and Mineral Research and part of the scientific committee of INSERM.
- Advise ECTS Board on issues and policies regarding current or potential grants and awards
- Consider grant and award nominees and select appropriate grant reviewers, taking into account any contractual conditions
- Collate and examine reviewers’ marks and comments and make recommendations to the ECTS Board, who has the responsibility for the final selection Any conflicts of interest must be declared. Committee members must not mark or comment on any grant/award application if they have a conflict.
