Biagio Palmisano is a researcher at the National Research Council and Sapienza University of Rome. His research focuses on the biology and pathology of bone marrow stroma, with particular interest in the pathogenesis of skeletal dysplasias. He is the 2021 recipient of the ECTS Fellowship for Basic/Translational Research and has been a member of the ECTS Academy since 2024. He currently serves on the board of the Bone Marrow Adiposity Society (BMAS) and the Italian Society for Osteoporosis, Mineral Metabolism and Bone Diseases (SIOMMMS).
