ECTS webinar series on Bone, Muscle & Beyond: where do we stand? by Bram van Der Eerden

Having initiated the ECTS webinar series on Bone, Muscle & beyond one year ago, it is time to make up the balance! Over the last 10 months, the E-learning action group within ECTS set hosted a monthly webinar with topics ranging from rare bone diseases to epigenetics of osteoblasts and from big data to bone imaging modalities. I believe we can be proud of what we achieved since many colleagues from within our society but also beyond are now familiar with these webinars. This is also clear from the number of registered attendees for each webinar, which is now ranging between 50 and 150. Besides this, the responses to the surveys are extremely positive, both for the speaker and the topic (see figures depicting all our webinars combined). With a very interesting program of webinars ahead for 2019, the future is looking bright for ECTS as an educational forum. The webinar committee is devoted to keep up the good work and will expand e-learning within ECTS where possible. If you missed some of the webinars, you can still watch them: Monthly Webinar Series “Bone, Muscle & Beyond”. We hope to meet you all on the 20th of September for our next webinar!
