ECTS offers 4 individual grants of €300 each as contribution towards the total costs of attending the Herbert Fleisch Workshop to be held in Brugge, Belgium, from 20 to 22 November 2022. These grants are available to ECTS students, early career scientists and 2 of these will be reserved to members from a Central East European (CEE) Country.

Eligibility
- Member of the ECTS
- Research students or early career scientists within 5 years of PhD or MD
- Must provide letter of support from supervisor
- Must submit abstract to the workshop (extended abstract submission deadline: 7 August 2022)
- Successful applicants will only be eligible for one Herbert Fleisch travel grant
Application
Applications to be submitted via the online application form, until 8th August 2022.
Selection
Grants will be allocated on a first-come basis to the first 4 eligible complete applications (including the support statement and signature from the supervisor) who have been accepted to present to the workshop. 2 travel grants will be exclusive for members attending from a Central East European (CEE) Country. If no applications are received from a CEE country, ECTS will distribute these awards to the next eligible candidates.
Notifications will be sent out after the application deadline date of 8 August 2022.
Payment will be made after the event by bank transfer, providing the applicant has attended the workshop.
It is the responsibility of the applicant to send supporting receipts to the value of the claim to the ECTS Office within six weeks after the date of the meeting. Any receipts received after this date will not be paid and the application will be void.
