ECTS joins Alliance for BioMedical Research in Europe

The European Calcified Tissue Society is pleased to announce that we have become a member of the Alliance for BioMedical Research in Europe. The BioMed Alliance is  the result of a unique initiative of leading European medical societies which together include and unite more than 400,000 researchers and health professionals.  The BioMed Alliance was created in 2010 to gather strength across different disciplines and areas in biomedical and health research at European level.

Thanks to this, ECTS offers its members the opportunity to voice  and participate in European Policy actions that can directly impact your research work.  Upcoming activities include:

  • Participate in the European Commission consultation on the EU R&I Framework Programme which is expected mid-2018
  • Support the BioMed Alliance Position Paper on the ninth Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (FP9)
  • Foster Medical Educational activities
  • Support Academic Research

Are you interested to learn more about what BioMed Alliance can offer to its members and willing to participate in one of their Working Groups?  Just contact ECTS at roberta.mugnai@ectsoc.org.
