The ECTS Grants and Awards Action Group, composed by Prof Salvatore Minisola (chair), Prof Anna Teti (co-chair), Prof Pawel Szulc (member), Prof Roger Gomis (member), Prof Amina Valjevac (member) and Prof Christina Møller Andreasen (ECTS Academy member), is pleased to inform the ECTS community that we received several applications for the ECTS Best Articles Award (basic, translational and clinical), to be recognised during the ECTS 2025 congress in Innsbruck (23rd-26th May, 2025). The aim of these awards is to acknowledge the excellence of New Investigators in the field of bone disease research. The ECTS released three calls, for clinical, basic and translated into clinical relevance articles. The eligible articles have been published (or accepted for publication) during the period of June 2023-October 2024 and are being evaluated by the Grants & Awards Action Group members and external reviewers for their scientific merit, originality and significance. The awardees will be announced during the ECTS 2025 Congress, on Saturday May 24th 2025, in Room Tirol, at 16:00hr. They will deliver 10-minutes presentations to illustrate the highlights of their articles.

During the ECTS 2025 Congress, 6 named awards will also be presented. Candidates have been nominated and they are currently under evaluation by the Grants & Awards Action Group members and external reviewers.
