The recent ECTS PhD Training Course brought together an enthusiastic group of early-career researchers from across Europe, with additional partic
ipants joining from the USA and Israel. This diverse cohort engaged in a comprehensive and intensive program designed to strengthen their understanding of bone biology.
The course offered a structured progression, starting with introductory sessions on the fundamentals of bone biology and advancing to state-of-the-art technologies that are shaping current research. Students had the opportunity to learn from leading experts who not only shared their scientific knowledge but also provided valuable insights into career development and research strategies.
While the schedule was packed with lectures and practical sessions, there were moments for networking and informal discussions. These interactions allowed participants to connect with peers and faculty, fostering collaborations that we hope will continue beyond the course. Looking ahead, we aim to create even more opportunities for networking in future editions, ensuring that the course remains both academically rigorous and socially engaging.
We trust that this experience was rewarding for all involved. Students gained new skills and perspectives, and faculty enjoyed sharing their expertise while supporting the next generation of researchers. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event a success.
