The ECTS Newsletter Action Group (AG) is part of the Communications Committee of the European Calcified Tissue Society (ECTS) and plays a key role in keeping the community informed, connected, and inspired.
Working closely with other communication teams, the Newsletter AG gathers input from across the society — including committees, action groups, and the wider scientific community — to curate and publish the ECTS Newsletter, released each month. This regular publication highlights the latest developments in bone and calcified tissue research, ECTS initiatives, member achievements, upcoming events, and opportunities within the field.
The group’s mission is to ensure that every issue of the ECTS Newsletter reflects the vibrancy and diversity of the community. By collecting stories, research highlights, and announcements, the team helps bring the society’s activities to life and fosters stronger engagement among members.
Through its editorial work, the Newsletter AG contributes to the society’s goal of promoting scientific exchange, collaboration, and visibility across Europe and beyond. The newsletter not only informs but also connects — serving as a bridge between ECTS, its members, and the broader scientific ecosystem.
The ECTS Newsletter Action Group operates within the Communications Committee, chaired by Prof. Dr. Heide Siggelkow, and works in synergy with other groups such as the Website & Social Media Action Group.
