The ECTS Academy Charity Event has become an integral part of the annual Conference. Delegates can register for an interactive social activity, with proceeds being donated to a local charity related to bone.
This year, the event will be a game of darts, a popular indoor game in the United Kingdom. No experience or equipment is necessary, instructions are given, and all scoring is automatic. Participants just need to turn up and throw the darts! The event will take place from 21:00-22:00 on Sunday April 16 at the Tops Darts Club (above the Cheers Big Ears bar) on Bold Street, around 10-15 mins walk from the conference venue.
A minimum donation of €15 or £15 will be collected at the venue before the start of the event (cash only, larger donations are welcomed!). Food and drink can be purchased at the venue. Proceeds will be donated to the Paget’s Society, an organisation based in the North West of England which provides support and information to people affected by Paget’s Disease.
