New Editor-in-Chief of the Newsletter team. By Antonio Maurizi

After three years of outstanding and dedicated service by our former Editor-in-Chief, Petar Milovanovic, the ECTS Board has appointed me as the new Editor-in-Chief of the ECTS Newsletter. In addition to thanking the ECTS Board for the appointment, my heartfelt gratitude goes to Petar, with whom I have collaborated on the newsletter since 2020, first as a member and then as an editor. Petar, in addition to being an excellent scientist, has been an outstanding team leader who has organized and directed our Newsletter with consistency and dedication over the past three years. A big thank you from me and our entire community.

I am an assistant professor at the University of L’Aquila, Italy. My main research projects focus on the study of rare diseases affecting bone tissue, with particular attention to understanding the pathological mechanisms and identifying possible therapeutic strategies. I have been a member of the ECTS since 2016 and have been collaborating with the Newsletter working group since 2020. Our Newsletter currently has, in addition to me, five highly capable members: Barbara Hauser, Elena Tsourdi, Antonia Sophocleous, Alanna Green, and Alexander Rauch (to whom we extend a warm welcome).

I am truly honoured and will strive to ensure that the ECTS Newsletter continues to provide important and relevant information to our members.
