Attending the 2017 ECTS PhD Training Course in Paris, France, was an incredible experience both professionally and personally. Lectures given by experts in the field helped broaden my understanding of musculoskeletal biology and offered new ideas to take back to my own work. In addition, the career development and grant writing workshops provided excellent guidance regarding the advancement of my career as a scientist and independent investigator. I am certain the content covered throughout the course will prove to be extremely valuable moving forward. Further, the ECTS PhD Training Course provided a welcoming environment in which students from unique backgrounds and disciplines could come together to discuss ideas and form lasting relationships. The opportunity to network and collaborate with other students and faculty involved in the course is something I found highly valuable. Excellent content coupled with knowledgeable instructors and high caliber participants made the ECTS PhD training course an incredible experience!

It has been my first time at ECTS PhD training course. I think that is a unique occasion to create a network with other students and this is extremely useful to obtain suggestions and critics on your own project from different scientific points of view. I really appreciated the friendly and didactic environment that in my opinion is the most efficient one to teach and to learn.
