ECTS Coffee Shop on Bone Research & Clinics during the Pandemic

ECTS Coffee Shops are a new way to bring scientists together in an informal and relaxed way to discuss topics of relevance to our field.
The next Coffee Shop will be held on 28 January 2021, 4-5pm CET, and will be moderated by Hanna Taipaleenmäki and Cristina Sobacchi to discuss how the pandemic impacts bone research and clinical care – and what can we learn for the future.
Specific topics include: Management of patients with metabolic and rare bone diseases, patient care in Corona Hot Spots, Telemedicine, Impact on research institutes and career moves, Home office and Family care.

Clinical Training Course in Metabolic Bone Diseases

Our first Clinical Training Course in Metabolic Bone Diseases will be held online in September 2021.

This two-day training course will offer a rich blend of scientific and educational sessions on metabolic bone diseases and osteoporosis. It will combine state-of-the-art lectures and cases, including practical skills training.

ECTS Digital Masterclass 2021

Designed for PhD Students and Young Investigators to gain general knowledge of bone research, this four-day Digital Masterclass has been hailed as one of the most innovative and successful courses in the bone field.  The course has been of immense value to previous participants, and the networks that form during these events help to sustain the musculoskeletal field in Europe into the future.

It will offer a rich blend of scientific sessions, educational lectures, interactive workshops and case-based discussions.  The mix of scientific and professional topics is designed to meet the needs of Young Investigators and to enhance careers in the bone field.
